And ha on the vivid dreams being a feature… I failed to mention that in my first couple of weeks upon starting, I dreamt, for the first time, I was being murdered!!! Fortunately nothing like that ever happened again… I was upset all day!
I was just thinking of crushing it and then let the solids settle at the bottom, since there is technically between 30-40 doses. Maybe I will start with 100ml of distill water and take 1ml for the first week. (i.e. 0.5mg) and slowly work my way up to 4.5mg. Is that the best way to start off or should I go higher for the first? Thx.
I had 60 2mg capsules made in the pharmacy and took them, I didn’t notice anything but I am very healthy. I am now going to try 4mg daily and see if I notice anything and get a blood analysis done after 2 months. I am taking the LDN to get a better neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio;
I know this is old but I was wondering if you are still taking LDN and if your opinion about positive effects (mainly for pains, and sleep) has changed? I’m about to do an order from India and was wondering if I should get LDN also? Anyone can chime in. Thanks,
From checking out the facebook group, this tracks. It seems reactions are all over the place, and at all different doses.
It has killed my love for food, too. Nothing tastes bad but nothing is outstanding, either.
On one hand, having to force myself to eat enough is a nice change of events, but I do miss the utter joy from food… more than most people I know. I should really be 500lbs! Instead of it making me eat even healthier, I find I eat more naughty things now just to encourage myself to eat a bit more. I’m still eating healthfully, just not as freakishly as I was.
If you have any vices (food, alcohol, smoking, opioids, etc.), that might be another reason to put LDN on your list. I find it helps me walk away from temptations much better than without.
I have increase my LDN to 10mg each night. My psoriasis almost cleared off. No more flaking on my face or ears. My nails cleared up. That is just after 5 days. So I am hoping in the next 2 weeks it will remove 99% of it. I am hoping to switch over to LDN cream, but still reading through the instructions. Maybe add rapamycin into the LDN cream.
Folks, LDN eliminated my chronic lower back pain of many months in about 4 days. I went off to see if was really the LDN, and the pain started to come back after 2 days. Then one dose and no more pain the next morning.
By the time I was able to get in to see a physiatrist it was almost pointless except that I wanted the diagnosis and treatment to address the root cause. She didn’t blink when I said I was using LDN, but it isn’t one of their standard treatments. The injections are much more profitable.
I do the 50mg tablet dissolved in distilled water with a little everclear method.
Do You take 1/10th of it for 5mg/daily or are you doing different dosing. I’ve got some coming, and I do have a lower back problem that at times flares up pretty badly. So I’m hoping to find something that works. And is it better in the morning or at night? consider that I’ll also be doing a 2IU Gh nightly and hoping it doesn’t interfere with it. Thanks,
I dissolve 10mL of everclear into 40mL of distilled water, then use the medicine syringes for kids to dose whatever I like at 1 mg/mL. I would start low, like 0.5-1mg a day for a few days then titrate up as you assess efficacy and tolerance. The alcohol isn’t necessary for solubility, but maybe it’s a tiny bit of insurance against bacteria.
Many people take it at night so they are asleep for the 4-6 hours of receptor blocking, but the subsequent endorphin release can be stimulating and interfere with sleep. You get used to it after a while, probably, or you can take it in the morning and just be prepared for a 4-6 hour period where you might not feel great. In my experience, that is also temporary. I have stuck with morning dosing because I don’t notice any downsides anymore and I’m a bad sleeper.
From what I’m reading I think it is too conservative to go 1.5mg for a week then 3mg and then 4.5mg. I think most of us should go straight to 4.5mg and unless we have a reaction we should keep at it. I’m up to 10mg. Once my psoriasis is cleared I’ll slowly drop it down and see what is the minimum I need.
I forgot to mention that my legs feel like they are 18 again. No more joint numbness or weirdness.
I might have said this earlier in this thread, but incase I didn’t…
It completely wrecked my sleep for a couple of weeks and I had intended to switch to mornings or go off of it entirely at the end of the month trial, but at some point it flipped and then it dramatically enhanced my sleep.
