Back in 2019 following a routine (every 2 years) medical I was diagnosed with LBBB.
Also my cholesterol levels had massively jumped up (from previously low normal levels) and so had my blood pressure into the hypertensive range (from previously being on the low side.
I didn’t consider my diet particularly bad (ate plenty of fresh fruit and veg) and although I didn’t do much in the way of aerobic exercise I’d been weight training in the gym for decades.
I suspect I had fallen down the first “ageing cliff”.
I knew nothing about this website or forum or indeed anything about longevity, health-span or nutrition.
Lots of education later (a lot of it thanks to the wonderful community here), and with Rapamycin and an SGLT2i (I mention that because apparently it can have an effect) in my stack, fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I had the results of a 48 hour continuous ECG monitoring (that took in a zone2 and HIIT training session) and I’m told that there is now absolutely no sign of the LBBB.
N=1 Can’t put it down specifically to the Rapa as according to AI an SGLT2i can also have a beneficial effect, but generally speaking once you have the LBBB its with you for life so to have apparently been cured is potentially a big win for one or the other or both in conjunction as far as I’m concerned.
