Our own John Hemming leads a team of biohackers in England that recently advanced to the Top Ten in the second round of a competition to develop more accurate measurements of aging. The team uses methylation of DNA to determine biological age and predict mortality. A few weeks previous to this event, John’s team was awarded a prize at the Medical Affairs Innovation Olympics for proposing “the loftiest and most idealistic concept” for extending healthspan.
