Is it really the Brita? Brita can’t even filter out lead
I suck for not knowing this earlier
Wouldn’t a water distiller be the best choice? It evaporates the water leaving all particulates behind, and then recondenses the water into a container.
ideally yes, but too much effort for most people. a water filter like this is an easy 90/10
These pitchers are all made out of plastic.
Brita SOHO with LongLast filter was Consumer Lab Top Pick.
What are all of your current thinking on this?
I’m trying to figure out which among the following I should go ahead with:
-
Distilled water/RO + remineralization → I wouldn’t have considered distilled water but I realized that they can actually be cheaper than RO with affordable countertop variants based at least on Amazon results even though I haven’t heard of most brands. Distillation is however more time/energy consuming.
-
Clearly → Finding it hard to trust the many different claims by water pitcher products.
Y’all have had any experience with either?
Can someone check consumerlab to see which psyllium husk has lead contamination? in particular I want to see if the organic india brand has it
Approved and a top pick. Took me a long while to navigate their site and I accidentally learned that taking loads of fiber can give you high eosinophils and I got out of range high numbers last time in so this is good info.
