I have been using intra nasal insulin for about two months. In the past couple of weeks I noticed that my appetite has decreased a bit (nothing like when I tried Rybelsus), but no GI problems at all, and I have lost a couple of pounds. I did not make the connection to the IN insulin until yesterday when I came across research that showed that the insulin in the brain, while it does not cross the BBB into the body, it does influence the way the brain sends signals to the rest of the body that can cause weight loss. As far as neuro – no perceived effects that I could not say decisively might not have been placebo effects. But, I do feel pretty confident now that the insulin is getting in there . . . .
