Hard to say IMO. This is the method:

To investigate the immunological effects of rapamycin within secondary lymphoid organs, C57BL/6 mice received rapamycin (5 mg/kg/day i.p.) (43) and were characterized after 3 (early), 7 (intermediate), and 30 (late) days of treatment.

So that’s a daily dosing, by injection. And, we already know that mice seem to have much faster clearance than humans. From my very brief top-dipping into the whole microbiome area, I do know that the mouse and human gut microbiome are incredibly different.

I guess one major thing I learned is that the immunomodulation might come around from more than simply slowing down cell division.
