In regards to the title of the string:

A disease is an abnormal condition that affects the structure or function of the body, typically characterized by specific signs and symptoms.

It has to be determined if aging is an abnormal condition before we call it a disease.

It’s obviously and tautological normal. It’s what happens.

Aging will never be called abnormal for the obvious reasons and therefore it will never be addressed as a disease. We all hope that it’ll be possible to slow it down.

There are many diseases that are normal (such as degenerative diseases of joints, bones, muscles, brains connected to ageing), and thus aging, though normal, is a disease as well. There are no old people with lack of some kind of degenerative disease, it’s a lack of disease is abnormal in an old person.
