I was looking for an app to measure hrv. This one seems to (using the phone camera & flash). It has a ton of stuff that it talks about measuring & trying to improve. I’m curious if anyone else has tried it & if so, what you think of it.
Welltory is a health and wellness app that tracks and analyzes heart rate variability (HRV) to provide insights into stress, sleep, activity, and overall wellness. It integrates with various wearables, like Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Samsung watches and rings, and the Samsung Health app, as well as other fitness / wellness apps, offering personalized recommendations for optimizing health and performance. I was excited to test it, hoping it would integrate all my health and fitness data sets in one place. But…
I found Welltory’s user interface cluttered, inconsistent and constantly changing, interrupted by AI-generated messages, i.e., what Welltory calls “insights”, which distracted me from seeing the integrated data from my wearables and health apps. Pretty much par for the course in my experience. I am old-school, wanting stability, consistency and ease-of-use in applications. Those are qualities that seem to be lacking in many new apps. It certainly is lacking in Welltory
