Guidance for a peptide newbie? DKK1 antibody and WNT signaling

Did not imagine wandering into this pond. Have been uncovering layer after layer about what is know about osteoporosis, particularly osteoporosis largely caused by genetics. Specifically: too much sclerostin inhibiting proper WNT16 signaling. WNT16 signaling declines with age and loss of estrogen. But my genetics show two SNPs (2908004 and 270466) where I am homozygous for the risk allelle that drives, per Promethease, “weaker bones”

Romusuzumab (Evinity) addresses this, but there is also a peptide that works in a similar way, reducing sclerostin effects on the impeded WNT16 pathway.

So now I am into the peptide weeds, Would appreciate guidance – anyone know anything about DKK1 and how to obtain, and use? Assume I know nothing.

I wouldn’t call myself a peptide newbie. I’ve read a lot about them. This is the first I’m hearing of DKK1, so you’re not likely to ever be able to source this without a custom synthesis, which I don’t recommend for something like this.

If an already established medicine can treat your condition without having to resort to experimental options I would say this is your best course of action.
