I specialize in the hundred-yard dash. This YouTube site has dozens of high-tempo videos, both vocal and instrumental, that keep me going. Most are about an hour long. It’s easy to convert the videos to MP3.

I’m lucky my gym just has decent music. I don’t bother putting headphones in and listen to whatever is at the gym.

The 100-yard dash part caught my attention here. What does specializing in this look like?

I have been working out on spotify to Avicii… anything he produced… which is popular club dance music.

Tim Bergling [a] (8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018), known professionally as Avicii ,[b] was a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer. His music consisted primarily of pop-oriented house music, often blended with other genres such as folk, country, bluegrass, soul, and blues. He is considered one of the most popular and successful electronic dance music (EDM) artists of all time and is credited with "leading EDM into the mainstream.

Sadly he has been dead 8 years and nothing like his stuff.

Good post. I’m more of a rocker type so use more high energy classic rock and metal bands to keep moving and pushing during workouts. Recent artists I play have included Def Lepard, KISS, and Queensryche. A bit older stuff like Boston and Kansas still get in the mix as well.

After a decent warmup, all-out effort is the key.

Yes… really fantastic overiew of Tom Bergling’s rise to fame… and tragic death.

That documentary is actually what got me interested in his music… all styles.

Now I blast through my sets with Avicii in my ear buds. Hahaha :stuck_out_tongue:

ROCK ME AMADEUS!!

Like the second longer one better.

Sticking to Current Dance Music Mix… and Avicii.

Spotify has some playlists based on BPM that work well on long runs for me. Sometimes I’ll just listen to podcasts when I don’t want to focus as much on my time.

Hands down for me game ost from my childhood
