Does Rapamycin inhibit MTORC2 thus inhibit muscle growth?

Sarcopenia occurs in the elderly but can be combatted with proper exercise. Does rapamycin/sirolimus inhibit muscle growth by inhibiting MTORC2 which increases muscle growth?

See this thread, we have discussed this a lot in the past. The answer seems to be “a little bit”. It you are a competitive bodybuilder it may be an issue, if not, then probably not a significant issue. Update on Brad Stanfield's Rapamycin Clinical Study in NZ - #182 by RapAdmin

Mtor1 is the one that drives direct muscle growth, mtor2 does so indirectly.

Also, inhibiting Mtor1 doesn’t shut down all muscle muscle growth pathways, it was demonstrated gaining muscle mass on some types of resistance training (exercises that emphasize muscle lengthening) is indepent of m-TOR 1.
