Disturbing news regarding Medications Ordering from India, Price Increases, Parcels Stopped

My skincare came through DHL from France and about a week later I received a bill.

I received a DHL package from Russia through Dubai. Don’t ask… lol.

Was sent a text and link.
Package is in St. Louis being held.
… pay $19.51 taxes online. Easy… paid.

My DHL :package: package arrived the next day.

Yes hair tonic is not directly applicable to our pharmaceutical situation, but at least “something” is getting through. And sometimes things get “mis-labeled” or “mis-categorized” so there might be room for some things to slip through, just call it a hair tonic or vitamin, problem solved. Of course if the package is opened by customs, yeah it will be seized, so its not really a clean solution.

My package was an injection (profhilo) so it’s hard to know for certain how it would be categorized.

I just had a patient - also shipping DHL have his held by customs - requesting doctors note and Rx’s. I’ve supplied these, we’ll see if the meds come through or not. It’s silly, it was just cholesterol and BP meds.

Update from my Chinese HGH vendor.

She wrote:

The special line includes customs clearance and tax. The front part is delivered by the special line. After arriving at your local place in the United States, customs clearance is completed and it is delivered by your FedEx.

She thinks all good.

I used PayPal so no delivery… no payment.

BTW - I think daily HGH rocks.

Please report back whatever the outcome. I don’t understand how Chinese vendors are able to get their meds through, but somehow Indian vendors are in a bind. If anything I’d imagine goods coming from China get extra scrutiny from customs, unless they transship through other countries. All this is going to raise costs, but that’s ok if at least it gets through. We’ll see, it’s still early days.

Got through to all four of us on this site last time I ordered.

I am betting she sells or can get everything. Not just HGH. Just a thought.

If the order gets through… will let people PM me for her WhatsApp number.

They are playing a different game. Chinese vendors are shipping items whose legality is not so obvious. They have to use stealth packaging. There is some risk of seizure, which is why most will provide reshipping free of charge. Most Indian Pharma people haven’t had to deal with that yet.

Anyway, consider all your pharma purchases gray purchases from now on, and look for ones that reship free of charge, and send product through zzz.

What is the deal with Dubai? Less scrutiny or lower tariffs? It seems like one of the big problem is even if it does pass scrutiny the limit now appears to be a 3 mo supply.

I hope you’re planning on testing the product you receive from your vendor. There are 1 or 2 labs in the US that can test for hgh purity and dimer. Look for purity over 95% and dimer under well 1%. This is what is consisted acceptable to buyers of grey hgh (pharma hgh has different standards). If you need some lab names, let me know.

Yes… my last HGH came as something else.
Very well concealed. Fooled me.

The Chinese vendors get their stuff through because they use freight forwarders who handle everything end-to-end, including customs clearance on both sides of the ocean and transfer of the parcel to the last mile delivery service. Packages are almost always bundled with many other orders until they land, and then they are split and fresh labels are put on for last mile delivery. If there are any issues along the way, the freight forwarder works to resolve them. They are alao a buffer between us and CBP should parcels be misdeclared, because we are not the importer of record when a freight forwarder is used. This is important in the new era of $10K fines…

Now things are different if an individual package is shipped directly by an express service. In that case, FedEx/DHL/UPS is handling customs clearance, but your name is on the package. Seizure rates have always been higher for Express, and the carriers themselves are a problem.

Indian vendors don’t use freight forwarders, they just drop a smelly box in the mail. :slightly_smiling_face: It’s a completely different ballgame.

@Agetron, check the Whatsapp group. The vendor you’ve been using just had a lot of packages seized. May not impact yours if last mile is FedEx, but things are dicey right now…

To everyone: Highly recommend, again, that we don’t discuss this route or any successful route. I get that the info is out there on other forums, but there’s no need to help the webcrawlers and LLMs even more. There was a reason why I didn’t mention the city earlier. We don’t need to do CBP’s job for them.

What are the odds of a random package from India getting through? It doesn’t seem possible that millions or billions of packages are being intercepted.

Fair enough but then how are those of us who aren’t in the know supposed to figure out how to navigate all of this?
