Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP)

@Beth ,
Thanks for sharing the data. May be its mentioned elsewhere but are you planning on pulsed dosing?

Excellent question @Nick1, and I have no idea yet

I hope some smarter people than I am chime in… hellooooo everyone ???

I see that @Steve_Combi has used higher doses before seeing a difference.

I also picked up some epitalon to do a couple of cycles a year ( seems to be the standard way to use it), but I’m not going to try it until after I figure out what/if anything DSIP will do for my deep sleep. I really only bought this stuff to see if it would help the husband, but I’ll try it too, even though my sleep is good.

This is what is on pgb re DSIP

Dosing/Administration:

  • Typical Dosage: The standard dosage for DSIP ranges from 100-250 mcg, administered shortly before sleep.
  • Administration Method: DSIP is most commonly delivered via subcutaneous injection, ideally 30 minutes before bedtime to maximize its sleep-inducing effects.
  • Cycling: DSIP can be used continuously or cycled, depending on individual needs. Research suggests cycles of up to 12 weeks with breaks in between to maintain efficacy and prevent tolerance.

And
DSIP Dosage Guide: Research involving DSIP often uses a dosage of 25 nmol/kg of body weight, which translates to approximately 21.4 mcg/kg. For a typical subject weighing 150 lbs, this would equal about 1,500 mcg per dose. Researchers have administered this dosage safely for up to two weeks, based on available case reports. For initial trials, a lower dose of 100-250 mcg is recommended, with adjustments made based on the subject’s response and study objectives.

  • Starting Dose: 100 mcg, administered at night, preferably three hours before bedtime.
  • Frequency: Typically once daily, depending on the study’s design.
  • Duration: Studies have typically lasted up to 14 days, though longer cycles may be explored in future research.
  • Microdosing DSIP: Microdosing refers to the administration of chemicals at sub-therapeutic levels to minimize adverse effects while exploring potential benefits. While there are no specific studies on microdosing DSIP, this approach could allow researchers to observe the peptide’s effects on sleep and stress with minimal risk.
  • DSIP Cycle Length: The optimal duration of a DSIP cycle depends on the research goals. Standard cycles range from days to weeks, but longer durations might be necessary depending on individual responses and research protocols. Researchers should monitor subjects closely and adjust the cycle length as needed.

3 nights is not much time for an evaluation.

I would not change the dose again for a week at least. Don’t chase the dose so fast.

A reasonable time for an eval may be 30 day’s / nights? but definitely not 3 nights.

@Steve_Combi thank you very much for the advice… I was thinking it’s a ‘works right away’ sort of thing… I’ll stay at the aprox 350 ish mark for a while and will update later… thanks again!!

It didn’t work right away for me and I slowly increased my dose to find the dose that worked for me. That took about 2 weeks to find my personal sweet spot. I increased the dose 2 times in those 2 weeks.

Well, the peptide is DSIP, but you probably meant what is its amino makeup and if that’s what you are asking, here is the answer. Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu
