This topic is of interest to me, as I’ve had to have ACDF surgery recently as a result of cervical disc disease. Interestingly, mTOR is involved, among other things. The condition is genetically driven, so not much I could have done about it. But I have been looking at bisphosphonates for years now, and this is an interesting angle. Now, this is in zebrafish, but if it applies in humans, it could be an important development.

More fuel for the fire. If senescence is key, could rapamycin be of use early on as a preventative agent? If not, perhaps senolytics/senomorphs have an opportunity to shine. Review article.

I read a study years ago when I first found out about “zombie cells” that was based on analyzing human disks of elderly both living biopsies and autopsies. It indicated that a high old vertebral disks were made up of senescent cells.
Found it, not the disk but the annulus fibrosus cells and not all elderly… I think there is another study on this topic but no time to dig deeper today.

I might be interested in obtaining it. How are you planning on using FOX04-DRI for senescent cell treatment? Research seems to show in mouse studies, it was administered by intraperitoneal injection.

I do sub cutaneous with all the peptides I use. No need to do intra.
I do 2 to 3 cycles of FOX04-DRI a year. 8mg day for 3 days for 3 consecutive weeks then done until the next cycle. May be a bit conservative in dosing but I’m ok with that.
