I’m scheduled for cataract surgery in a month & plan on taking my last 6 mg dose July 5. Does that sound safe? Anyone have any thoughts on when to stop & when to go back?

Allowing 3+ weeks to get it out of your system so as to resume mTor activity sounds safe. Any possible mTORC-2 reduction would also have time to recover. I’d also allow 4 weeks after the surgery to allow for healing time. IANAD, but I’ve had the surgery (by laser, and then not taking rapamycin) and I took those post-surgical eyedrops for about 4 weeks; all of the healing should be done by then.
