Here’s a curious thought: Metformin, Acarbose, Canagliflozin - a group of tongue-twisting diabetes drugs that might be related to our healthspan and lifespan. Is this a common “side-effect” (if we can call it that) of most diabetic drugs? I mean, if so, I’m starting to wonder if Semaglutide would perform the same effects?
Time will tell. For now Metformin lacks any solid evidence. The others have only been shown to extend the life of mice. We’re a long way from fountain of youth.
