Ah - you always have to specify in your order I want “Zydus sirolimus” (or whatever brand you want). Oh well, next time…
Ah darn I didn’t know. I got sent the same brand the last 3-4 orders so just expected the same one again this time. I got it from buy-pharma.md
When I ordered my sirolimus from an Indian pharmacy I cant remember…a bunch of agents contacted me after my enquiry…anyway i chose the fastest most sincere response and this nice lady shipped me Siraboon from Kachhela. I dont have the resources to chec k blood levels etc. But I experienced a very notable lethargy and something i never have experienced before. The aluminum sealed tablets definitely have something in them but what? Has anyone here had intense side effects right at the beginning of taking rapamycin?
I don’t doubt they had rapamycin in them - the issue is the amount and quality control. Some people have done testing and found them effective and some others have tested and found they did not seem to have much potency; so this suggests a poor level of quality control (a wide variation in the amount of rapamycin in tablets). That is why I would not purchase them.
My gout always flare out after 2 to 3 days from taking Siroboon brand.
How do Sirboon—Rapacan— siromus compare to each other?
I was quoted $102/100 of siromus.
$60/100 of Rapacan and $40/100 of Sirboon.
Welcome!
I’ll let someone else answer your question, but if you happen to be in the US, and if you have an rx, I wanted to let you know that through good rx, you can get 180 pills for aprox 110 at your pharmacy.
Thank you Beth,
That’s an amazing deal on Rapamycin, but I don’t have a prescription or a doctor. I’m scheduled to meet with a new doctor in June 2026. Healthcare is awful over hear and I hear it probably won’t get better.
The Zydus Siromus, and Biocon/Eris Rapacan are probably your best options. Zydus seems to be the highest quality provider and most consistent. Biocon/Eris Rapacan less so, and at the bottom is Siroboon. People have reported widely variable results with Siroboon; they are the smallest of companies on the list, and so I suspect their quality control is not nearly as good as the larger companies (Zydus is the largest, and sells globally, a multi-billion $ company).
More details here:
Little update on the Siroash brand here. I’ve been using it and it seems totally fine. I don’t notice any difference compared to the other brands I have used.
I’m so surprised anyone is still considering Siroboon unless I’ve misunderstood the results I’ve seen posted on this forum of blood tests showing little or inconsistent serum concentrations.
The price is tempting, but I would definitely go with Rapacan or the Zydus product.
I’ll look for Rapacan or the Zydus products. Hopefully Jagdish is still about. Maulik has been out of contact.
I want to apologize for my delay.
FWIW, Jagdish is still around, though I just had a package from him returned to sender because of “incomplete address” (utter nonsense - the address was absolutely complete). He indicated, that he will resend it as soon as he receives it (currently the package entered Indian customs).
I can recommend Apple Pharm as highly dependable and highly responsive. I’ve ordered about 7 times, and every package has come well-wrapped, and with good communication. DM me if you want contact info.
I use Siroboom and it has has worked very well for me. I have ME/CFS and after taking 8 mg week with GFG for 3.5 months most of my symptoms have gone, no brain fog, 60 less pain, and 100% more energy. Also the price is good, i just ordered 6 boxes 2mg (180 pills or 360 mg) for USD $134 delivered to my door. I have noticed lots of changes to my body and health.I use Sachin, SS Medex, Nagpur, he is very good.
We were taking Siroboon in timed delayed capsules and as far as my two test by Labcorp one test after 4 days afer does and the second 4hours after does both came back at .09ng/ml
I’ve used siroboon. I know people complain that it doesn’t work, but for me it’s clear 9mg is too much for me (very tired), so whether or not I had high blood level, siroboon seems able to put me beyond what I’m willing to handle. Currently at 3mg as I feel like long term at 6mg also causes me to become overly tired.
Without a post 2 to 3 hour dose Labcorp blood test for siriolimus … you won’t know … feeling can be placebo.
You should get a 3 ng/mL per 1 mg. You take 6 mg… good rapamycin - siriolimus - zydus…gives you 18 ng/mL.
Just saying.
I would be surprised if the mouth sores and sore gums are placebo. Being tired could, be, but I’ve taken it off and on long enough that I don’t think it is.
Understand.
Medication is all about the dose.
Too much of a drug can be poisonous (true to rapamycin when MTOR is tuned down too much… too long).
Too little of a drug can provide no benefits.
Looking for just right… in the middle.
Medication can have silent pathology too… damage not felt.
My guess is that you might be under-dosing based on the brand siroboon and others experiences.
But, everybody responds uniquely - so it might be fine.
Personally, I believe it is good to now your ng/mL levels when dosing.
Best of luck.
