Bacillus F - a real "thing" with wild longevity claims?

Hey all, has anyone gone down the rabbit hole on this? Bacillus F appears to be a real bacteria, but the claims about its longevity benefits appear totally unsubstantiated. surprising

The claims:

The Scientist(s):

Plus epidemiologist Dr. Viktor Chernyavsky, and Professor Sergey Petrov, chief researcher at Tyumen Scientific Centre.

A single journal article (note, there are no wacky claims made re longevity):

To add to this, an interview with Dr Anatoli Brouchkov

Plus, links to publications (that I have skimmed):

Relict microorganisms of cryolithozone as possible objects of gerontology

Relict_microorganisms_of_cryolithozone_a.pdf (140.3 KB)

Key points:
A single dose of bacillus sp. culture appears to:

  • increase fertility in fruit flies into older age
  • improve thymus and spleen indicies in mice
  • increase muscle strength in mice ~60 per cent
  • extend mice lifespan (snipet below)

Is the ancient permafrost bacteria able to keep DNA stable?
https://www.ias.ac.in/public/Volumes/jgen/095/04/1003-1007.pdf

Key points:

  • Speculation that DNA repair enzymes are responsible for Bacillus sp. ability to survive in permafrost (and presumably, although the article does not say this, for the life extension effects described in Relict microorganisms of cryolithozone as possible objects of gerontology cited above).

Edit: This video covers a little more than the article. Its also clear thar Dr Brouchkov explicitly advised Manoush not to inject anything.

Of note, Manoush is still doing well as of late 2023 (based on her instagram account activity). In answer to a question on if she still uses Bacillus F, she responded “still not available to the public.”

Let’s wait and see what happens to the Russian scientist first

The Russians always seem to be at the forefront of nootropics, peptides, etc., research.
