I’m just glad they don’t raise the risk of Cardiovascular disease… I eat a lot of them.

Yet another “high quality” nutritional epidemiology study from that group.

Dietary intake was assessed using a validated semiquantitative FFQ with over 130 items administered every 4 years. […] Participants were asked how often, on average, they consumed each food of a standard portion size in the past year.

One semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) every 4 years does not look that convincing IMO.
I’m more impressed by the 20% of current smokers in the nurses cohort though.
