Attia and Epstein

Having heard from St. Augustine and Edward Gibbon, let’s give the last word to Bob Dylan.

God is in his heaven,
And we all want what’s his,
But power and greed
And corruptible seed
Seem to be all that there is

Interesting thread. People’s personalities are being revealed by the posts.

That’s ok, Pete Buttigieg is the only person I like on FOX

According to Social Blade he has lost about 10k subscribers so far.

I do agree with this.

I cancelled my premium sub because I feel like he hasn’t been truthful and he’s showed terrible judgment in general. And recently I feel the quality has gone down: too much bro-science, the no plates no dates guy, mike israetel who is not qualified to talk about anything. And then he got a ridiculous tattoo. I worry that now it’s just Joe Rogan for people who think they’re smarter.

And again, I am truly grateful to the years of advice from Attia. He’s absolutely changed my life. But we’re not married. I didn’t commit to some sort of relationship no matter what happened.

At the same time, other “influencer” doctors (who are all less successful than Attia) piling on just reeks of jealousy. And the funny thing is, it seems like almost ALL of these rich/famous/celeb/KOL people are fundamentally insecure. They suck up to those higher in the hierarchy than themselves, and then punch down when they have a chance. That’s what has surprised me the most; you have literal royalty fawning over Epstein, an actual Lord writing “where ru, I miss you” like my first girlfriend did when I was 14 years old.

But then you have Bill Gates emailing Epstein asking where to get antibiotics. You’d think Bill Gates could easy have as assistant run to a pharmacy, or pick it up in Mexico, or order online. These rich guys apparently have absolutely no idea how to use their money. They should give it to us!

Oh yeah, absolutely. But that’s a crazy low bar to set. Now, being rich, private islands, endless attractive young (legal) women, able to send text messages to senators, dinners at Buckingham palace and Windsor castle and Balmoral, hobnobbing with politicians, lords, and CEOs. I think a lot of people aspire to that sort of lifestyle and the power that comes with it. And unfortunately it seems that things escalate and once you’ve kinda maxed out the legal stuff, they start getting into illegal stuff. Look at P Diddy. I’m sure the guy could have consensually had as much sex with as many women as he wanted.

Hahaha…that’s one more than me… tbh on FOX… unless we count Gutfield… he’s funny. :joy:

Both CNN and FOX are too one sided.

Missed the old days of news… here’s the facts.

Actually go to BBC… and it has problems too. Lol

I would like to get people’s feedback:

Which way do you tend on this topic:

  • Keep this thread open (I don’t mind, or I like, threads like this)
  • Close this thread (we’ve discussed enough), I prefer not to see this type of discussion here in the forums

I don’t know if this was posted before but find it interesting. Never heard him speak. He basically has a way with words to not say much, yet he impresses upon whoever he’s talking to that he somehow is brilliant. I can see now how he was able to fool so many people.

I started this thread and I don’t mind such somewhat off-topic discussions, but at some point it needs to be limited/cut-off, and the admins need to figure out when its time to move on, so I abstain.

I think it will naturally die down at that point closing it makes sense. Doing it any time before that will just cause the discussion to leak out of this thread to other places.

It is a longevity forum so keeping the rest of the website focused on that is important.

I share those thoughts…

To AL’s point, I first posted about this on another Attia thread, but I switched to this dedicated thread once it was created… it worked perfectly.

It was huge news and a ton to process and discuss… but I also imagine it will begin to die down and people can post and have discussions with their community if anything new should happen.

And as said, because it’s a dedicated space, those who don’t care for the discussion can easily avoid it.

I remember once seeing a purely social part of the forum which could also be a place for this type of discussion if so desired. I don’t even remember where I found it at this point, but @RapAdmin you could direct people there if you decide you don’t want this sort of thing in the main section.

I didn’t understand this comment when I read it, but I just saw what the antibiotics were all about… oh my… he got an STD and was going to sneak some to Melinda without her knowledge (I did not see the actual emails but someone asked Melinda about it, so I assume it’s in there). Well, THAT is why he was asking JE for them vs his doc or asst. He has done more good for the world than most, yet now this will be his legacy… idiot.

Don’t forget this is the guy that wanted all the cows dead and have the world population eat insects instead of meat, some of us believed him. When his outlandish (or more like devilish) idea didn’t pan out he says oh well we kind of over did the whole thing about climate change. Didn’t need to tell me that LOL

@RapAdmin would it be possible to get an AI summary of this? I don’t have a subscription to GQ.

Magazines for men. Got to love them.

The first substantive article on rapamycin that I read was in Men’s Health in 2019. It gave me hope of a way to slow the affects of aging that I was encountering. Changed my whole perspective of aging, and options.

Ha, my husband used to subscribe and we both enjoyed it… until he noticed a common theme… on page x there would be an article about xyz being great for you… then later on in the same issue there would be an article saying xyz was bad for you…
