Are juniper berries healthier than blueberries

The have less sugar

They are hard as wood and taste bad, like herbs. I put them into my Sauerkraut before fermentation process, bc they belong in there. We never eat them after fermentation, bc of the really bad taste.

Berries lower postprandial glucose spike and there is even some evidence it is helpful for diabetics. I wouldn’t worry about sugar in them and would encourage anyone to eat at as many berries as they care for.

This is not at all true, blueberries/blackberries cause higher postprandial glucose spikes than anything for me
