Any conflict taken with ivermectin and fenben and rapamycin all together?

Hi,

My pet is currently being treated with ivermectin and fenbendazole for a chronic illness, and I would like to introduce rapamycin. I’m wondering if there are any potential conflicts or if it’s safe to use them together.

I have used Rapa and Ivermectin at the same time. Quite a bit for a while there… Fenben was not in there, but it’s a really safe one.

Some dogs can’t use Ivermectin, MDR1 mutation can be tested for.

Its interesting… I can’t seem to find any drug interaction checker for pets like there is for humans. This one seems like it might work but you need to register or pay:

Here is the interaction report for ivermectin and sirolimus:

What about humans? I’m sure some people in the group are aware of Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, or Mebendazole for human use. Have you come across any reports in the group regarding this? I searched but didn’t find anyone mentioning it. Thanks!

I add Nac to hedge against liver issues. I’ve been using all 3 for about 2 years now in vary degrees without an issue.

The only other thing I know on the subject is that in goats, when stomach worms are encysted (they enter a state in the wall of the stomach where they have such low respiration that they can’t be killed with drugs) you give fenben for 3 days in a row (this wakes them up) then hit with Ivermectin. It works and there is no harm.

See this thread:

Drugs approved for humans usually go through extensive testing. Usually it’s a PDF with about a dozen studies investigating toxicities of different kinds, to liver, reproduction, cancer, and human studies. Case reports exist of severe liver injury from use of fenbendazole in humans. I posted them in that thread.
