I wrote an article not long ago on how to think about translating doses from animal studies to human equivalent doses, focusing on allometric scaling rather than the often-misunderstood dose conversion tables.
A friend of mine recently created a simple dose conversion calculator based directly on that article.
The calculator is not meant to produce a single “correct” dose (no simple calculation can) but to give a better approximation than standard mg/kg conversion tables, based on scaling laws.
