AgelessRx Canagliflozin Study - My N of 1 data

Let me start by thanking AgelessRx for doing that study as canagliflozin is clearly a topic of interest to me. I’m really looking forward to reading their study when it comes out but in the mean time here is my N of 1 data.

I have a bad genetic background for glucose regulation and even though I’m not pre-diabetic, my glucose levels and A1C are at pre-diabetic levels, even though I’m eating low carbs and exercising 6 days/week.

I was in the study arm getting a low dose of 75mg every other day for one week.
That was enough to bring my morning glucose to mostly normal levels though still not optimal.

That also reduced my systolic blood pressure though not my diastolic BP which is OK.

Obviously that’s a very short study but it’s an interesting one for sure and I’m eagerly waiting for the full results.

Very good post. Any pattern in your post meal glucose spikes higher and time to return to normal?
