This video should be renamed to 8 signs an 80-year old is aging well! It’s funny that those doctors seriously take 65 as a marker they expect ppl to start declining.
Its the same for any age really.
One stupid “sign” they identify is “low medication burden”, as if polypharmacy is an automatic negative. What if it’s a medication stack designed to work in concert to enhance health and lessen aspects of aging? All these approaches contradict each other - remember how that recent stupid study of a collection of clocks identified medication presence as signifying slower aging clocks? Yeah, the opposite. Some blokes opine on something or other, making content for their clicks and our waste of time.
It’s useful for sharing with beginners. They call it a way to tell if aging well, but of course that doesn’t mean you can turn each area into a longevity protocol:
You cannot stop taking medications you need to get healthier but needing fewer medications is a good move. Get healthier and need fewer, I guess.
You cannot train your grip strength to get healthier but resistance training does improve health AND grip strength.
I’ll share it, thanks.
