It’s often said (I’ve read anecdotally) that eventual supercentenarians DID look much younger (like 10+years younger) than their age when they were young, but I’ve never seen this to be the case for any extremely long-lived person I know of. None of them look noticeably younger than their age (though these are young ages before the signs of aging show up- maybe pictures @ age 40 would be more indicative).
[this is also true for noticeably slow-aging nonagenarians like Mahathir Mohamed and William Shatner]
Yeah I agree. Maybe it’s also the style/fashion, but some of them even look older, like the young guy with the thin moustache making him look 10 years older! But really, I think this is just more evidence that luck plays a huge factor in extreme longevity.
