  • “good” diet
  • Regular exercise (up to 10 hours / week)
  • Rapamycin…

I’m not sure I would put rapamycin before statins, sglt2i or telmisartan as each of those can directly address illness that will kill the average person decades before they reach their theoretical maximum age. And the dose of 8mg/week is also not the best validated one, it’s merely based on some immune function study guesstimates. Higher doses in mice have so yielded the best results even when taken less regularly.

Aren’t these the only longevity drugs right now, if we are being honest?

Statins: CVD
Telmisartan: CVD and whatever else suboptimal BP causes
SGLT2i: Kidney, CVD, HF, possible targeting of longevity pathways.

All using clinical trials.

Exercise for sure…diet I think is more about avoiding the really bad stuff and then maybe supplementing if you’re not getting enough nutrients and not losing weight or muscle to the point of frailty - but watch your blood tests and see if your diet has negative impacts. Then I agree with @Virilius ,get your house in order - particularly cardiovascular but mainly all the metabolic syndrome stuff before starting rapamycin because those things can kill you. That’s what I’m doing. Oh, and sleep is critical…less stress too.

I completely agree. I was assuming that the person is in good health otherwise. Obviously if you have any health issues or risks that need / can be addressed, those are top priority.

The point about longevity interventions is that they act to prevent diseases of aging. They may not do this with sufficient force and hence disease mechanism interventions may be warranted.
