Wall Street Journal Says No More Cheap Overseas Prescriptions Shipped to USA?

I didn’t even know that was possible. Argh So sorry!

Claude said this means it went through customs and is about to go to usps. Hope that’s true. 20 days

the infamous Jamaica NY International Distribution Center

I have had packages make unexplained loops from one distribution center to another in a loop several times before getting back on the proper route. Being sent back to the Jamaica NY Distribution Center doesn’t mean it will go back through customs.

BTW My other package is also caught in a loop in PA instead of MA but it’s moving again this morning and now has an estimated delivery date, so it seems to be back on track.

Were the addresses and ZIP codes on these packages correct? Is there any postal address issue that might explain why they are looping?

Thank you for clarifying that being sent back to the Jamaica, NY Distribution Center doesn’t mean it will have to go through customs again—that is a relief!

The tracking was messed up. It now shows my second package will be delivered today. That’s great.

Yes, maybe an unrelated software glitch in USPS tracking.

I just received a package from Maulik today. It was lost in limbo twice. First lost after shipment from India. It usually tracks to arrival in NY, but this one disappeared for several days and then magically appeared being shipped to the destination. Then limbo again until it was out for delivery. When I rechecked the tracking, magically all of the usual dates and locations appeared as flawless normal tracking. Total time in transit was 13 days from posting in India.

Technically, there is no US law against consuming any drug, even narcotics, the laws only forbid possession and/or sale of certain drugs. Once the drug is in your body, it is perfectly legal, as long as you don’t engage in certain activity, like driving.

Since you (or anyone with specific knowledge) seem pretty knowledgeable on the subject do you happen to know what the law says about possession of medicine without a prescription (not illegal drugs) in one’s own home? and then the same question but say I was travelling abroad for couple weeks and I take with me 6-8 different medicines to last my trip’s duration?

The law varies from country to country hence if you are travelling you need to check the law for the country you are visiting.

I was more concerned with the laws 0f USA as opposed to other countries as US tends to have harsher punishments for same offenses.
