No, I never thought you were female.
Well, I thought Bettywhitetest was referring to her age and what a long healthy life she lived.
I am so old that I watched Betty White on a black & white 21" TV when I went home for lunch during high school. Actually, I was watching reruns in 1958-59
“The Betty White Show is a television series that aired on KLAC-TV (now KCOP-TV) in 1952 and 1953, and on NBC in 1954”
Back then even teenagers thought she was funny.

I didn’t give much thought to a username - and definitely didn’t think I would be contributing to the discussions here. Under the thread about rapamycin and testosterone, my naturally high blood levels must have given the glancing reader a pause :).
I thought she was a great comedic foil on the Mary Tyler Moore show. She made it to 99 years and could deliver her lines to the end. A super ager.

That is very tough but also has a very clear medical indication and it’s an established procedure.

I suppose a little 17α-estradiol and 5α-reductase inhibitor could give you some of that Betty longevity magic… not sure how to get that Betty super-positivity though. I don’t think she was doing anything special otherwise. Ate in moderation, stayed active, didn’t smoke, didn’t drink much, probably slept well, good genes E2/E2…?

I suspect that most of us here take a combination of supplements that in combination has not been rigorously tested. I try to use my best judgement and avoid conflicts wherever possible, but the reality is that it’s always a bit of crapshoot. The alternative (wait until everything is “properly” tested via RCTs) is not a realistic option.

I think combinatory testing really needs multiple N=1 testing as otherwise it is going to take a very long time to get any answers.
