5 mg tadalafil daily worked for me with prostate and nocturnal urination.
I have BPH and wakes up a couple of times during night to go to the bathroom, I have experimented with many different supplements. not many works for me, but the best one by far is Psyllium husk. I take 3 grams mixed with water before I go to bed. This will soak up all the liquid left in the stomach. Very cheap, worth trying.
DrFraser, that is interesting. For those who responded to oxybutynin was it a fairly quick response or did it take a few weeks to start working?
First dose effect was typical - 5 mg helped around 50% reduction in wakeup to urinate in those I’ve given it to. I have one fellow finding better results on 7.5 mg at bedtime. I’d think if no results with a couple of doses, it is unlikely to work.
Desmopressin is very effective. Urologists I’ve spoken to don’t like it though because they feel it’s treating the symptoms, not the root cause. When taking it it’s important to keep an eye on sodium levels, since it can cause hyponatremia.

What about Gemtesa (vibegron)? It’s specifically for overactive bladder and works via beta-3 agonism and NOT as an anticholinergic/antihistamine. There’s an older med (mirabegron) which is now generic and works via the same mechanism.
