Hi all, looking for advice. I am having an arthroscopic knee clean up on Thursday. I decided to add on a stem cell treatment… I am planning on being off my Sirolimus for at least a week or two. If I start back on Sirolimus after only a week off will it possibly help the stem cells “ take” better?
We don’t have much clinical evidence on the interactions between rapamycin and stem cells, but it seems more likely to me that it would be a positive impact than a negative one. See this report here: Rapamycin Prevents Blood Stem Cell Aging, New MIT Study
