Just so i understand correctly, tirbanibulin treats:
This is what many people use tretinoin for, right? But this is a five day application for $150 per tube (more than the five days?)? And then tretinoin is $30 a tube per month for a six-month application (say $25 on sale…) so $150?
So they’re both $150 for the same results, but tretinoin takes 5.75 months longer?
I must be misunderstanding something. If i do understand correctly, this would easier and faster for the same price. (Assuming no side effects, bad reactions, etc.)
Apologies for bugging, but I have emailed each pharmacy listed in the image in India. None of them replied. I also reached out to my regular supplier who said they didn’t stock. Have you or anyone following this thread been able to source? If so, would it please be possible to share how to source. Thank you.
Hi Ludovic, I will report once I got new professional photos taken : I only had very little solar lentigo and just recently applied 5 days in a row while on holidays - results seem good for me but I would prefer seeing the professional before and after picture in the next weeks before giving my opinion. Also am not as much of a “ ideal “ candidate as the persons in the pictures of the study. I did have - and think I still have, unless it is autosuggestion, very sensitive skin on the areas (cheeks) where I applied it. Will keep you updated.
Hi Ludovic
I just got to see the professional pictures and there is a nice difference ( although I didn’t have much, the difference is noticeable). So am happy I gave it a try.
I took pictures of the professional pictures / video as I considered attaching them also to the Tixel thread but unfortunately the quality of my mobile pictures diminished the visibility of my solar lentigo even on the before picture ( the tixel results are somewhat more visible but still not quite as good as in the original pictures)
Eviba Carter reviews her personal experience using Klisyri (tirbanibulin) for anti-aging, discussing its effects, application, and recovery.
Here are the key points from the video:
• Eviba Carter, an MD/PhD candidate, tried Klisyri (tirbanibulin), a topical chemotherapy drug usually prescribed for precancerous actinic keratosis, to see if it could help with skin rejuvenation and anti-aging.
• She documented her experience with daily high-quality photos in controlled lighting.
• Dermatologists have observed that patients using Klisyri often see cosmetic improvements, such as better skin texture and reduced hyperpigmentation, though the mechanism is unclear.
• Eviba’s friend, Dr. Kieran Smith, prescribed the drug off-label for her and has used it for cosmetic purposes in other patients.
• She noticed significant improvement in sunspots and overall skin appearance, with results comparable to device-based treatments like lasers.
• The treatment involves applying Klisyri from small packets once daily for five days. The product is very expensive—over $1,000 for less than two grams.
• To maximize absorption, she used acetone prep and microneedling before application, which increased irritation but potentially improved results.
• Side effects included redness, irritation, tightness, and crusting, but she found the recovery easier than with fractional CO2 laser or photodynamic therapy.
• The company that makes Klisyri does not currently plan to market it for cosmetic use, and more research is needed to determine optimal dosing and confirm efficacy in younger populations.
• Eviba emphasizes this is not a recommendation for everyone, but shares her experience for informational purposes.
5fu will blow your mind. You apply it to your normal looking skin, and a few days (about 4-5) days later, you will probably have patches of deeply buried damaged skin cells being revealed, turning reddish purple and later scabbing up. It looks awful, feels awful and takes a long time to heal. If you can hack it, you will be rewarded with renewed, rejuvenated skin. But it’s really hard to use if you have to work because you look like a leper.
There is evidence that it can be used in a slow, intermittent fashion with ultimately good results, but it would take a much longer.
I found that 5fu disturbed my sleep and gave me general bodily malaise apart from the topical skin effects, so it feels quite systemic to me.
yeah, it looks like a full lock down, all results from google have been scrubbed. Even indiamart has been scrubbed. I have never seen this much effort to block it.
I searched for Klisyri on Indiamart months ago and did find one source, but the price was $100 per pack with a minimum order of 5 packs I believe. No, that did not sound right to me! So, I bypassed that opportunity. I simply asked my dermatologist for a prescription of Klisyri for actinic keratoses. The price after insurance was $77. It appeared to remove 3 keratoses, but I haven’t noticed any skin improvements, otherwise. And, I had no reaction other than very slightly red skin for a few days.
I did a quick search for Klisyri and tirbanibulin on Indiamart a few minutes ago and sure enough (as others have noted), it does not appear.
