Yes, the truth that Akira Endo was taking a statin in 2011, which the 2022 video from Paul Mason didn’t mention.

And that he didn’t take a statin initially because he believed he could lower his moderately elevated cholesterol with exercise.

In a twist worthy of O. Henry, the man who discovered the first statin learned during a medical checkup in 2000 that his own LDL was rising. “Don’t worry,” the doctor told Endo, “I know some very good drugs to lower your cholesterol.” But here’s the real twist: Endo refused the statin prescription. His LDL was only modestly elevated, so Endo decided to try bringing his cholesterol under control by exercising more. Eventually, though, Endo chose to take his own medicine. “The exercise did not work well,” he wrote in an e-mail. “I am now taking a statin. However, I shouldn’t specify which one.”

for all practical purposes “natural” is just a marketing term that companies use to appeal to people who have positive connotations around “nature”. Its a marketing strategy, nothing more (in my view).

If someone doesn’t want to take any prescription drugs beberbine can be quite good but dirty, there’s also a bunch of other supplements to lower LDL cholesterol.

My apoB was around 55 mg/dl just using 500 mg berberine, eating canola oil, and sometimes some oyster mushrooms (which have lovastatin). Could maybe combine with garlic and other supplements, even RYR, for an ultimate supplement combo to lower cholesterol. Could use cold-pressed canola oil and reduce saturated fat as much as possible. It will work like magic.

Oh, and I think all my future meditation and incense sessions will be based around this:
