Yes, I have been using it on and off since 2011. It works well for muscle building if you take it with anabolic steroids but not as much on its own. It definitely increases lean mass and body composition either way though. It also depends on the dose. I’m only on a low “anti aging” dose now (2.5iu) alongside a TRT regimen so it keeps me full and prevents some fat gain.
New drug combination shows massive fat loss and muscle gain without steroids - "The End Of Steroids?
Thank you for your response. Is it 2.5iu daily?
That’s correct. Before bed. Sometimes I go up to 3iu though.
In my heavy juicing days in my mid 20s, I went as high as 10iu per day, which I would definitely not recommend for anyone for any reasons
I’m noticing the exact opposite on tesamorelin / ipamorelin. In the “feels” department, my recover has been amazing, I’ve been able to lift heavier weights, and I’m sleeping better. I will have hard numbers at the end of my cycle. So, not completely useless
.
And yes, I’m sure I could have done better with hgh.
Did both for a while (about three months) and absolutely Zero effect. Stopped and looking to start HGH and see if it makes a difference. Also did few others and couldn’t notice a difference at all. Maybe I’m the type that doesn’t respond to peptides. Surprisingly, GLP1’s did work well for losing weight and suppressing appetite. As for the rest of them, it was money thrown on a fire-pit (for me). LOL
The thing is there seems to be a point of diminishing returns with gh secretagogues like that. If you really want gains, you can push the HGH to a high enough dose that it will blow these things out of the water.
My mind immediately goes to taking that AND exercising to get double effects.
Pretty amazing… and I concur, this medication with muscle resistance will provide the best results for lean muscle growth and maintenance.
Hoping these meds initially go to those who need it rather than bros in the gym.
Here’s how it will go:
- studies on people who need it
- gym bros buy it off grey/black market before public release
- human trials successful and people who need it get it prescribed
- gym bros keep using grey market
You didn’t mention the wealthy who somehow get it so that millionaires, athletes and entertainers all of a sudden look like gym bros.
What dudes on TRT look like. Yeah, just like me hahaha ![]()
Men’s Health.
An interesting article. Seemed like the guys who used BPC157 had the better physiques. Probably more of a symbol of how far they’re willing to go than BPC157 itself.
Agreed.
There are no anabolic/androgenic peptides that I know of. Without being able to have an effect on the anabolic/androgenic process we won’t see a peptide that can increase muscle size. That is a bit simplistic as there are other factors that affect muscle size/strength like myostatin inhibition, mTOR stimulation, etc.
With respect to hGH - hGH itself is not truly anabolic. Peptides that do increase production of hGH are not going to do anything like PEDs (steroids). Lots of studies on hGH (somatotropin) related to this. A much longer acting hGH than what your body produces. Somatotropin also significantly increases your IGF-1 which has an effect on androgen receptors and “should” provide a more measurable effect than hGH secretagogues.
One interesting study I read years ago with a group or 20+y/o college athletes was that it had no effect on upper body muscle size but very minor effect on lower body. The main difference was strength increases, better recovery and fat reduction.
One thing that can confuse some tests is water retention which can cause the appearance of muscle mass increase. Some PEDs do this.
I think one of the more important metrics is strength. If an intervention can at least maintain strength, then there is a benefit from what ever you are doing to maintain that strength.
Mots-c, SLU-PP-332, hGH secretagogues, BPC+TB, etc, none of those did anything to maintain my strength. It was a costly experiment.
The iron is bringing my strength back
