No, that’s not the case at all. You’re the one who started with the negativity by saying that the study is useless and a waste of money. I’m asking how you would have obtained the data otherwise without the study, to which you apparently have no answer.

I agree that it does seem obvious that wealth generally helps health outcomes - but thanks to studies like this, now we know the actual results. And guess what, the wealthiest Americans are still behind average Europeans, so your instinct about what was “obvious” turned out to be wrong. Is that not valuable?

End of the day, this is a forum interested in longevity, so this sort of research is pretty relevant and useful, as long as the study is actually well-performed.
