Mushrooms Magnify Memory by Boosting Nerve Growth

Hi RapAdmin
Yes, I still take them. Just powdered form in capsules from Iherb, Piping Rock etc now. I was buying whole dried mushrooms from a Chinese herbalist in my city (Wellington, New Zealand), grinding them down and encapsulating them. Problem with that was that I had no way of knowing the heavy metal content etc so I canned that approach. Having said that though from what I have read in regard to purity and even content of various supplements bought online it is quite hit and miss. Maybe someone can recommend a good and inexpensive supplier? I am also supplying an older friend of the family who had a stroke and my mother who has dementia. The women who has had the stroke has shown a good response but, again, this is subjective, as I cannot run her time in life again having not taken them as a comparison.

Great new article on the benefits of Lion’s Mane mushrooms:

Friedman, M. (2015). Chemistry, Nutrition, and Health-Promoting Properties of Hericium erinaceus (Lion’s Mane) Mushroom Fruiting Bodies and Mycelia and Their Bioactive Compounds. Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry

The benefits are amazing, much more than I have ever noticed.

I guess I need to get a batch going. Weather is warming up some and it takes a month or so to really get it rolling.

Once you get going…let me know if you have some to sell…I will drive up from Kirksville.

2015? I never saw that. I was tricked. It came up on the mushroom references site for March. Thought it was new.

I’m always using the mushroom dual extracts of the company ā€˜hifas da terra’. I love mushrooms and grow several species like lions mane, oister mushrooms, shitake and reishi in my basement or garden.
