You can get modafinil really cheap and easily from Indian pharmacies.
I love modafinil. I take 100 mg daily. The normal daily dose is 200 mg. It smooths out my daily wakefulness and alertness—no ups and downs. It is not a stimulant. It does not noticeably affect HR or my RHR—one of my favorite drugs.

For me , modafinal is uniquely satisfying , 25mg early Is more than enough
100% better focus on tasks on hand ,better motivation levels , more engaging conversations , higher energy levels

Modafinil has a upside downside ratio that is on the optimal frontier, and it makes aging suck way way less

I stopped using modafinil with coffee. Too much stimulation.
Have not noticed a tolerance while using it for a few months.

I’ve only tried Indian brands but I can say that modafinil and armodafinil from these pharmacies feel different.
Actually, I don’t mind the tolerance buildup. This is one supplement that a new user should definitely titrate up from a small dose. After about 6 weeks, I was able to tolerate the 100 mg daily dose and occasionally a 200 mg dose if I had lost some sleep.
Now, I find the daily boost just right. I don’t want to “feel” it. I just like a day with an even cognitive alertness and no need to take an afternoon nap. Because of long-term cognitive effects that are suggested but not proven, I will keep modafinil as a regular daily supplement.

Ok I just took 100mg.
200mg was very unpleasant at times and wrecked one and almost another night of sleep
I always take it early in the morning, before 8 AM.

Modafinil was definitely used by many involved in the Venezuela region today.
Not to undermine this in any way, it’s just wakeful promoting in situations like these.

Yes it is active for a long time so it has to be taken first thing in the morning to be able to sleep that night

If it doesn’t work good, try a acetylcholinesterase inhibitors before bed.

Probably armodafinil more so as it’s more powerful and has a longer half life than modafinil.
I think everyone involved had 8 hour sleep if they could, I guess they set their sleep schedule in advance for operations like these. But probably modafinil (or maybe armodafinil) was used for those who didn’t sleep for 8 hours or not with this sleep schedule.
The wake-promoting benefits of modafinil are typically extended by re-dosing every 4-6 hours. Recent pharmacokinetic studies have shown that Armodafinil, the longer half-life enantiomer of modafinil, maintains blood plasma levels of modafinil for up to 15 hours (Darwish, Kirby, Hellriegel, Yang, & Robertson, 2009) at lower dosages compared to racemic modafinil. In a parallel group study comparing armodafinil to modafinil and placebo, Dinges, Arora, Darwish, and Niebler (2006) found that armodafinil had a comparable peak plasma concentration to modafinil, but with higher concentrations and improved wakefulness and sustained attention for 6-14 hours post-dose.

Sleeping agents are probably used by whoever needs it.
Probably using zopiclone, zolpidem or other stuff for good sleep.
Where do you get 25mg dose? It seems most listed 100mg as the lowest dose.

Correct , I don’t have a pill splitter , so I just use a packing knife type blade (loose ) on a hard surface
You not going to get 25mg ( quarter tab ) exactly but it’ll be close enough
For me , I even get an observed effect from 12mg
I changed my mind on what I said earlier about India modafinil being stronger than North American modafinil.
I believe the difference in the effects was that now I do not use 3 cups of coffee and thyroid medication in the morning when using the NA modafinil for the past month or so. So it felt weaker.
Took 250mg armodafinil this morning, and didn’t have the same feeling as when I was using it in summer 2025.
I assume 200mg of the India modafinil will be similar, since I was experimenting with both.
So, India and North America are both good and comparable.
