Longevity experts reveal when humans will start living to 1,000... and it's sooner than you think

Literally there are hundreds - quitting smoking is an intervention, lowering LDL, A1C or BMI, etc. etc. all of those extend your life. There are ton of studies on this.

Kurzweil concept of, longevity escape velocity (LEV) , suggests a point where technological and medical progress extends human lifespan by more than a year for every year that passes.

This is a very reasonable assumption. There is already plenty of evidence we can extend lifespan and thus slow aging process via multiple interventions, at some point we could theoretically reverse it. Yes we already have the tools in the works - Yamanaka factors, peptides (like the one used for tooth regrowth), organ cloning and replacement.

Quite so. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are arguably miracle drugs that ought to put to rest the idea that obesity is some kind of character flaw. (The villain is not anyone’s lack of willpower–it’s that industrialized food production makes some high percentage of people, in every population and racial group, obese. Since human inventiveness heled create the problem, it’s lovely to discover that human inventiveness can reverse metabolic syndrome and its sequelae, such as Type 2 diabetes.)
