Studies that embarked on intermittent dosing regiments reported a partial reduction of some adverse effects of rapamycin, such as glucose intolerance [4], while still effectively extending the lifespan of female mice [5].

This is an excellent review of an original research article and very pertinent to users on this forum. The reviewer’s credentials (Anna Drangowska-Way, Ph.D.) are noteworthy and perhaps explains some of what I see as quality issues with other lifespan.io reports/authors. Original study also discussed on rapamycinnews @ Intermittent rapamycin feeding recapitulates some effects of continuous treatment while maintaining lifespan extension
