Intermittent (oral) Rybelsus / Semaglutide use in healthy individuals?

Of course it’s available. My point was about a generic version.

My understanding is that the SNAC is actually embedded in the pill, not a coating. People report results with cutting. That being said, my wife didn’t notice much but it was just 3.5. She is now on 14 EOD as daily was too much.

She is about 60% of baseline calories on 14 EOD.

Update on my order of Sembolic brand semaglutide from India; the vendor says there’s still a big shortage after launch, especially of the 14mg variety. They offered to ship me 90 tablets of 7mg instead of 60 tablets of 14mg but I refused and decided to wait. Will share when I hear it ships.

Starting 14mg twice a week now. For anyone else on it, I wanted to ask, have you noticed any difference in the effects of waiting 30 minutes before consuming anything else vs waiting an hour or more?

I usually dose after a small (fatty … eggs, cheese, etc.) meal between breakfast and lunchtime. Sometimes I just take it mid-day or evening with a shot of olive oil. Timing and meals make no difference for me, with regard to any noticeable effects or side effects.

Oh wow you’re “meant” to have a prolonged fast before taking (basically in the morning before consuming annythjng is the only viable time for a lot of people) and only with a tiny amount of water. Supposedly this helps it absorb better. But if you’re still getting the effect then obviously it may not be as hypertension than as they are describing it.

My bad, I was thinking of rapamycin.

For the semaglutide, I’ve been taking it (7mg) on an empty stomach and eating about 1 hour + later. All is going well with this protocol, and I’ve not tried anything else.

Have had my second 14mg dose (doing 2 a week). It’s hitting me like a truck just like the original so I strongly believe this generic has been formulated correctly. I’m surprised there aren’t more people on it here.

My guess is it’s because if you are ok with injections, you have to do it less often and it’s a fraction of the price, so there might not be incentive to switch over?

I bought 10 vials of semaglutide for my sister and that cost was around $50 (her dose is low so that is probably a two year supply for her). I bought 10 vials of Reta for $160 and that will also be a 2 year supply for me.

I tried branded Rybelsus from India a couple of years ago (my first foray into GLPs) and “hit like a truck” is right – I lost some weight and appetite was decreased, but the fatigue was disabling. Of course, side effects are highly variable from person to person, so plenty of people might tolerate it just fine but semaglutide specifically is not for me.
