February 27th. I’m working on a couple.
Do you have any tips for writing a submission? I’ve never done one before.
I’ve not done one either. I’m just going to start with the prompt and then edit from there to clean it up and make sure it makes sense: Ideas and Participation in ITP Longevity Drug Applications for 2026? - #2 by RapAdmin
I get a feeling that a submission for ITP can easily be translated to a submission to CITP and vice versa.
I will post my CIPT submission here when it is done for input.
Glucosamine SO4 (Gsa), Taurine (Tau), Urolithin A (Uro) are tested in the 2025
These are big ones because I’m always on the fence about taking them. I’m only taking taurine now but was taking glucosamine for a while.
I totally agree that the focus should be on things that are easily available and I don’t think it’s selfish, even though, yes I certainly do want that information for myself. I think it’s simply rational to first look at treatments that are available so we can identify low hanging fruit to use now that will then give us more time alive to identify other treatments that won’t be available until later anyways. This is especially true since the end goal is to make use of whatever we find to extend the lifespan of humans, not just lab animals.
My first question when considering any candidate intervention is: If it actually ends up extending lifespan of mice in the ITP, is that going to help us right now, or is that information only indirectly beneficial or beneficial much later.
If it’s available now we can use it now. If it is successful it will also encourage further studies being done on larger creatures and humans.
I also encourage anyone who wants a molecule tested to do their own submission to the ITP.
I’m doing Orforglipron. Anyone else who is doing a submission should state what molecule they are doing one for here.
