I ordered from this site, it’s not the best price but they accept payment through Amazon account and deliver fast.
Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate it!
It is a prescription only medication so this isn’t an indictment that he is just trying to scam money. He also says you can just get the prescription elsewhere.
There might be minimal systemic effects but it is generally accepted in the TRT space that you need specially formulated free base testosterone for it to go systemic effectively.
Additionally in one of his latest videos on the subject he stated he starts people on a 1% concentration. A 1% concentration of an esterified testosterone shouldn’t really have much of a systemic effect.
He addresses this. If you get acne you should probably just stop. I’m almost certain you’re not going to get acne at such pitifully low doses with pitifully low systemic absorption.
Some people react negatively to retinoids as well.
Overall I think this is something worth researching further and I’d love to see men and women here try it out. I’m thinking of trying it. I’m already on TRT so I don’t even care about systemic effects.
I only scrolled through the video for the before and after shots, so excuse me if he addressed this and my comment is not accurate….
I’m not poo pooing trt and it might be great, but I call BS on those before and after photos.
I have many years and $$$ under my belt of seeing top docs, so I pretty much know what is and isn’t possible with no fillers or a knife. I’m happy to be proven wrong, and if so, I will bathe in TRT
Which ones in particular?
Pretty much all of them, and for clarity, I’m not saying it can’t help at all, but his before and afters make me ignore anything he would say.
There are more obvious photos with hanging skin that magically improved, but I’ll show you this subtle improvement as an example because I could immediately spot what was done that the casual observer might not notice.
In the after photo, she had a lot of filler placed in her top lip. It’s screaming obvious to me and a good provider will never make your top lip bigger than your bottom lip, even if it’s commonly done. You’ll see her phltrium is now smaller (space from upper lip to the bottom of her nose. That doesn’t shorten naturally and no cream or hormone can do that.
She also has filler placed in the sides of her mouth. It’s a well known and invisible trick to fix the corners of the mouth that become downturned with age. See how she has little lines that point down and those are improved in the second photo… just shows there is filler everywhere… including her nasal labial folds. Fewer eye wrinkles shows it was better lighting or angles or something was done. Those lines can look drastically different depending on the photo, so ignore those when you see them.
EDIT: her eye wrinkles and nasal labial folds could just be airbrushed, I can’t be sure here. But there is definitely filler here. As I look more, I think her upper cheeks might have filler too because she seems to have more prominent cheek bones in the after .
Yea maybe. There isn’t a lot of information on this treatment.
I’m thinking of trying it myself. Shouldn’t be too expensive.
Were you able to order Profhilo? I just received my shipment from that company.
I don’t disagree with you, and certainly defer to your much more expert opinion on filler and other tricks . My only addition is that women of this age can look radically different just based on when we last moisturized, lighting, slightly more intentionally pleasant expression, hydration, hair color, weight, hydration, etc. On the surface, it may look like an incredible improvement, but I know how different we can look from moment to moment.
Is anyone (besides me) doing daily ice-water face-immersion? If so, how long, and what are you noticing? I’m at about a week in, and results are subtle but encouraging enough to continue.
I noticed, among other things, tactile smoothing. While the first time was fairly intense, it got much easier with repetitions. Would be curious to compare notes.
Well, if you are ALREADY seeing results, I might be persuaded to get over my aversion to unpleasantness #princessonthepea
On the smoothing thing… the only thing I really don’t like about my face are the enlarged pores I developed in old age… is it that kind of smoothing?
Did you notice at the IPAM link you posted it is also available as a solution? Wouldn’t that be much better than trying to mix it yourself? It would also be easier to titrate an accurate amount.
I still have it on my to do list unfortunately. I went back to work recently so I’m trying to find time for myself. I’m the second to oldest person at my office and despite probably being the fittest person there when I look in the mirror I perceive that my face needs a bit of help. Most of my coworkers are younger and have extra fat to soften things out a bit.
I’m glad everything went well with your order and delivery!
Yes but it costs a little more per mg of IPAM. I’m also not convinced that this is the best way to use it as a topical product. Having a powder allows you to control the concentration.
Also as a note once I finished the IPAM cream I made some more up but stopped using it on my hand and started using it around my eyes. Once I stopped putting it on my hand I noticed the skin on my hand started losing some of the improvements.
I think at the very least even if the lifespan effects of IPAM fall through in higher species that there will be some useful healthspan and cosmetic uses for it. If IPAM can be produced in larger amounts for a cheap price I think it could be good for a whole body moisturizer, and also facial.
I’d also be curious if it has any affect on hair loss, or hair quality, or graying of hair.
Maybe. I admit that I am not keenly aware of my own pore size, but I hear that this is one of the possible results, so you might want to give it a week and see.
It probably needs continuing use otherwise things switch back.
The hand was more of a safe testing spot. I’m more interested in the face looking younger than the hand.
Profhilo won’t give you immediate visible results. If you want to add some volume, Voluma (Juvederm) may work better.
Aha! The dilemma of easy application versus control. It seemed odd that you hadn’t gone for the solution but thanks for explaining your reasoning. I am glad you are sticking to this site’s principles of thorough experimentation.
