GPT 4 (not the free ChatGPT) answers correctly for complex medical scenarios better than nearly all med school graduates.
As Peter Attia recently commented, we aren’t anywhere close to “vanquishing death”. We aren’t even close to getting people to live to 120 or longer. What treatments like mTOR inhibitors might do is increase average life and healthspan by 10 years or maybe a bit more. That would be of huge benefit to society, both economically and qualitatively speaking. I’d love to make it healthy and happy into my nineties (though I wouldn’t mind getting to 120+ LOL).
I just replaced finasteride with 1 mg DUTASTERIDE.you are one of the few that I saw around who believe in 5 alpha blocking for longevity
Dr Stanfield believes in 5aris for longevity aswell. Though he most likely also takes it because he would not get taken seriously if he was bald.
You can’t base longevity decisions based solely on what others do, the case for 5-ARI shouldn’t be overestimated, preventing baldness is good in of itself to look youthful, which is important as well. I would trust more someone like Bryan Johnson who spends a lot of $$$ on a large medical team and who consults experts in different fields, regarding what he does.
(My view on Stanfield seem to have changed after the “$720 M” heist video, though, so it plays a role as well)
To be honest, I regard BJ as someone who takes a lot of meme supplements and does exercise. His medical team probably only exists to test his blood.
It is way more then that, that doesn’t cost millions of dollars a year. They get the top experts for every organ to get the best science regarding rejuvenating that organ for example, IIRC. He does take a lot of meme supplements though, but lots of good stuff as well.
Then his so-called experts must be as competent as the ones who advised Steve Jobs.
