Oddly enough chocolate without too much sugar or doughnuts seems to have quite a few good points.

Good question, but I dont have a good answer. Although I had an immediate dramatic reduction in BP when I started with telmisartan from 130ish to 115-120, that is something I can test at home.
As far as lab results, I am continually tinkering and making modifications to my regimen based on new studies, and based on just running out of a particular drug. And with taking different agents that influence the same markers, it doesnt lend itself to good analysis.
The most recent 3 month period has been fairly consistent, so maybe after my next tests in a month I’ll be able to attribute cause and effect, but even then I wont be able to say with any confidence what marker responded to what intervention.
