He’s changing it to PlasmalogenN3. “the active ingredients will still be the same”
RFK should be way more amenable than others to “alternative treatments” the FDA doesn’t like…
[meanwhile, he cited research saying riboflavin decreases stroke risk by 50%]
in the worst possible case, take shark alkylglycerols
Unfortunately the replacement PlasmalogenN3 won’t be available until 2029,
But there is no need to resort to shark alkylglycerols, which not only are even more expensive (per mg), but partly destroyed in the gut : The Prodrome Glia version will continue to be available and provides the same Plasmalogen as Prodrome Neuro, just no DHA.
From the omega3 thread we already know that supplementing DHA directly is not a good idea : due to the reactive nature of DHA, high levels of DHA in blood are bad in the same way the high levels of glucose in the blood are bad, even though both glucose and DHA are essential for the brain. However the Accentra Omega Max (LYSOVETA LPC) supposedly is good at getting DHA safely into the brain, so combining that with Prodrome Glia remains a good substitute for Prodrome Neuro.
