Festoons - Malar bags (watery/puffy eye bags) it's an aging thing! How to remedy without surgery

I was hoping a combo might reduce even more. I am greedy.

Will see if I can get the same reduction with just smoothies solo. Always up for simpler. :stuck_out_tongue::wink:

Also taking a breather on HGH for a month after being on it daily 3.5 iu for a year and 3 months. Could be partially responsible for the festoons.

No other swelling or issues with HGH. Not even sure this is a result… just seeing.

I have been using some hydrating serum morning and night. Helps some, but like BLSM, if I have a high sodium dinner, the bummers are back the next morning.

Thanks for this. I want to give it a try, but the CPAP might be an obstacle.

It possible to work… as it sleep on your nose… bridge.

Smoothies are adhesive strips …see earlier posts.

It doesn’t have to be smoothies from Amazon - even a Scotch tape will work. Long before “smoothies” were invented, I used white surgical tape on some areas of my face very successfully. Any tape that does not irritate or damage skin will work.

Used the Smoothies… solo with Satin Mask last night.

Me this morning. Afew minutes ago!

Frontal pic with only Smoothies used.

Frontal pic Satin mask and goggles.

TBH… for me, the extra pressure of the satin mask and goggles seem to remove a bit more fluid. A bit more cumbersome, but my N=1 better for me. Others might find Smoothies or tape adequate.

Thanks. I will try. If using the smoothies, is there any point to also having the satin mask? If so, which goes on first, the smoothies? Sorry for these questions, but this is all new to me.

For me the smoothies by themselves were not as effective… maybe did some good.

But the real heavy lifting was Satin mask with snug swimming goggles.

After just smoothies… not satisfied… went back to bed with Satin mask and goggles for one hour…

Much better improvement… even with one hour.

Only Smoothies

Even just one hour extra just now … Satin mask and goggles. I see a big difference.

Apparently goggles work better for you. So stick to that familiar method. It works for you! Everybody is different.

The triangular smoothies you use could be too short for you. You need them crescent shape covering the whole area under your eyes, or instead of using one triangle use three. Also, when you apply them there should not be hanging skin at the edges as it shows on your first picture. Look at my picture - no hanging skin at the edges. Another reason could be that you already have stretched skin. The purpose of triangles is to prevent skin from stretching. Yours is already stretched. Triangles won’t shrink it. I think you reached a point of no return - you were supposed to start skin care 10-15 or even 20 years ago. I started mine when I was 16. What will help is some HA fillers (or a facelift).

Satin mask sounds like a good idea but I never tried it. I like face taping. It’s a preventative method. It also prevents moisture from escaping. It apparently works better on skin that doesn’t show much damage.

Yes here is a few hours later… just now.

Yep, satin mask and goggles work for my deeper issues.

You do not want to defer bunion treatment bc it turns the toe towards the others and makes your case and recovery much, much worse

You’re probably right. I’ve been putting it off, but the minimally invasive procedure may workable.
