I’d rather have it all. Which is possible. You just have to work the system in a legal manner by exploiting loopholes.
The system is not set up in favor of the common man.
Here in Hong Kong I have free public healthcare and low taxes. I do buy supplemental full coverage insurance which will cover up to $5,000,000 USD in annual medical expenses at private hospitals worldwide (excluding the USA) for about $800 USD a year.
When you compare countries to each other, there are many huge discrepancies in terms of taxes, wages and health care. The USA isn’t bad but it’s not the best.
And don’t get me started on the loopholes the top 1% enjoy.
