@desertshores: what did you order, if I may be so bold as to ask.

I’m in the process of placing a small order of rapa, dapagliflozin, dutasteride, rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe and will report back.

Sorry, I prefer to keep that private at this time.

@Davin8r
So US custom no longer stop the shipment?

From India?

I have no idea what their policy or priorities are these days. All I can say is that my friend (who is definitely not me) received his blood pressure med for personal use from India without any holdup.

Yes, I’m keeping everything between 60-90 pills for this order. I’ve been ordering medicine from outside the US for over 11 years without any problems so after I received a message that shipping had resumed I decided to place an order. I had hoped to cross the border into Mexico later this month to visit a farmacia but I failed to get a new passport and then the government shut down. If my order only included things for myself I could work out how to obtain everything here but part of it is for my dog.

Just received my package from one of the usual sites that is back to shipping to USA since i was running low on Rapamycin. No issues at all. I had to pay an extra tariff tax but otherwise all good.

How does that work? Was it prepaid or did you have to pay on arrival?

My friend ordered from Jagdish, not Rapa, and received within 10 days. His shipping $$ in the past was $35 and her shipment of 300 pills was $50. No other charges.

The AI’s tell me that generics from India are subject 0% tariffs. Branded, patented pharmas are subject to 100% tariffs. There is an open question about branded generics, but likely 0% as well. DYOR

Edit: Per the above, the Pfizer-branded Eliquis in my first order should have been subject to a 100% tariff, but it wasn’t paid. So rules being ignored. Works until it doesn’t.

It’s listed as an extra cost when you check out your cart, so it’s simply added to the total (items + shipping + tariff) that you pay all together

Below is the latest posting (Nov 4) from my India broker. I have not yet placed a new order with him. Related, I just received a shipment of Nexlizet from North Drug in Canada. The product was from India routed via an intermediate nation. Arrival time ~22 days from acceptance of order.

Good news! We’re all set to begin our first test shipment from the 10th of November, or by the 13th at the latest. It’ll take that long to fulfill all the requirements for this new system.

> As of now, we are going to be subject to the standard Indian 50% tariff on all goods. We’ve decided to just move forward with that rather than continue to wait even longer to get clarification on whether we have to pay it or not. The 50% will be assessed on our wholesale pricing (which we will try to quote as long as possible for the paperwork), so it won’t be 50% to you (or your customers.) We’ll send those amounts to you in a separate spreadsheet, per each outstanding order. It is payable to the Indian Postal Department when we submit the shipments. If we find out that we’re not subject to it at some point or the US Government later withdraws this tariff, we’ll promptly refund to you whatever they refund to us. The Postal Department has confirmed that their payment system is being finalized. Once our first consignment successfully arrives, we’ll complete all your pending orders within a week of that.

> So as you can see, it’s good news in the long run. I’m not sure how much the tariff will be exactly (as a percentage of our retail price), but I will be sharing that added cost with you when I finally get those numbers. Meaning we’ll split it. I’ll set it up in the store so that you can send a payment to pay whatever tariff is due for your particular order and you can submit the payment for it through the store. I suspect it’ll come up to maybe 20% of the retail price so your portion will be maybe around 10% of the retail price. (Don’t quote me, but that’s my guess.)

> Anyway, this is good news for moving forward. At least we ARE moving forward. Watch for an email with more info about your particular portion of the tariff assessment.

> Thanks again for everyone’s patience. I have probably the best customers on planet Earth. So many of you have been so kind during all this. I want you to know how much I appreciate all of you.

Im at a disadvantage here. Ive been lurking for a bit over a year but missed de minimis. Or more to the point, never considered it would be an actual problem as my chinese friends are so great at shipping virtually anything I could ask for (with updated and verifiable COAs even!) With incredible stealth shipping - I never considered I’d be faced with an inability to source rapamycin.

Im down to 4mg and have been looking sproadically for weeks. Im very reluctant to get an actual prescription but may need to.

Hi all-

Just received a shipment from India. It took about 10 days to get to me in California. Was an real breeze compared to past shipments which took longer, stayed in customs a while, etc. This one looks to have been in customs for less than a day. I paid by credit card, no extra fees for that, really easy. It was a relatively small package and no extra fees of any kind, just the usual shipping fees.

Who in India? My most recent order has been stuck in New York for 12 days.

So I don’t know if we are all trying to not be too public on here about who the sender is. I thought I saw someone say that, but at least I will PM you.

Things are pretty much the same here. Placed 2 orders, 1 made it safely. The other was reshipped for free after it was detained by customs. Received last week.

Also received one from India last week. Took 2 weeks, same as usual.
