Hi Jonas, Iām at week 4 (1mg/2mg/3mg) and took 4mg today. Iāve stopped methotrexate (taking since 2015) as it wasnāt working anymore and I disliked the side effects. I reluctantly tried prednisone 2 years ago and it made my joint pain worse. Destructive, last-ditch drug and just a band aid.
My negatives on rapa are minimal with some positives so far.
Have considered the 1mg x 5 regime, but am going slow and tracking sides. Thanks for the link to this trial! Will post again when I have more data to report.
Iām not the one to ask Iāve just started and its been a mixed bag. Started three months ago. I didnāt work up I just went to the 6-7 mg daily. Got insomnia, would keep me up a couple of hours about half the week. So my natural, untrained thought was to take 1mg daily to stop the insomnia, not reading that that could possibly have immune issues. Got sick a couple times, one bad food poisoning that lasted a week. Took some time off the med. Then I worked up slowly from 3mg weekly to the 10mg weekly now. I feel good but too early to get my bloodwork done. No more insomnia.
Isnt it just the not natural vitamin A (synthetic A) thats linked to the cancer? I get it naturally from the beef liver. I think I read A/K2/D work with each other to avoid toxicity or something.
Iām not sure if its the Nad+ or the sirt 6 or the rapa or something else, but my energy is good and my libido is near college age at 44, so Iām weary to touch anything!
About Novos : I was looking into this but besides expensive I also noted that quantities were not as ideal ( eg very little fisetine in it, compared to general recommendations) so I also was thinking of calculating costs of a similar andā upgradedā mix myself ⦠and then I got busy doing other things ! So thank you for reminding me : will do the maths and let you know here
I think youāre doing great, very similar to mine. But if you want to save money, ditch the nmn/apigenin and just use IR Niacin. If you watch lustgartenās video on his NMN journey, he found niacin to be far superior. Also just a few pennies a day. Good Luck,
Spermadine in the bloodstream is conflicting. Unknown. But it is absolutely great at closing the junctions in the gut, therefore reducing the microbial burden.
Probiotics are amazing and cheap if done right. It requires effort.
We disagree on berberine. Cheap and easily worth it. It improves blood sugar and blocks production of TMAO.
I take it almost every day because on methotrexate I had a mild outbreak of shingles. Since reading in 2016 about the link between herpes viruses/EBV and Alzheimers disease, I plan on continuing to take it forever. Google āAlzheimerās ebvā as a place to start.
