What age does the software rate your face?
Me? 41 and 51. I turn 48 in 2 weeks.
I think I look 65 because I lost all my cheek fat when I un-obesed myself and need plastic surgery and/or fillers to look healthy again.
No, I was talking to PBJ. He described a fancy routine following a discussion about the aging software, then forgot to tell us the end of the story.
The software sees you much younger than 65.
I’ll believe the AI and my wife!
@eli, thank you for posting your experience.
I bought one at ali.
Delivery to Germany within 30 days based on DDP (Incoterms) - customs/tax included: 1800 EUR.
Started testing after consultation with a dermatologist and testing the original device (OEM feels exactly like the original): disinfection with Septeal, EMLA (numbing cream) depending on personal pain tolerance and settings (my skin type is 1-3: gradually increasing to time/protrusion 10/400), Dermaheal HSR ( mesotherapy solution) immediately after the procedure to use open channels, Cicalfate by Avene as after-treatment (emollient ointment).
I will post my experience after 4-6 weeks
p.s. no rapa 1 week before / 2 weeks afterwards
HI PB
If it’s working for you, then keep on doing what you are doing…
As you age, or even now, you might want to consider using your facial scrub a little less often and instead use a daily acid exfoliator… just an idea.
Your protective lotion might mean spf, but if it doesn’t, that is something you definitely want to add in order to maintain all the good work you are doing.
It’s a quote from the book American Psycho
Hahaha, he had me going. Beautifully written.
I mean, 27 years old and a routine like that, the software should put him at about 12 years old, right?
Age detect result: 49 (9 years younger, not happy, wanted to be told I was 35 LOL)
Toolpie.com rates the same picture as age 68. They must go by wrinkles. I’m going to end up looking like George Soros.
My result 52 is 17 years younger, but like you, I’m not happy and want to look 35! Try Toolpie.com, it’s more generous (rated me as 44, 29 years difference). Better for self esteem LOL
It’s not bad to look like Soros if it comes with his money as a bonus
Level headed doc. In total agreement with what he said.
Based on what the agentsmith said, the age prediction generated by the model is variant with respect of the background/ lighting. This is not what you want happening. Looks like they need to rework their ml before it is of any use.
I tried that Novoslab and I question the results. It says I look 13 years younger, and I really doubt that.
I think the Age detection software - Visage Technologies is more accurate… as they are not trying to sell anything other than their A.I., so accuracy would be more important for them.
It showed 7 years younger, which still seems like a stretch, but at least more accurate.
How Retinol Cosmetics Change Skin at a Chemical Level
Experts explain the differences between popular retinol products and the way they trigger molecular changes deep in the skin
Most dermatologists estimate that retinol is roughly 10 times less potent than tretinoin, meaning that when retinol undergoes the conversion process, only about 10 percent of it becomes retinoic acid. (In the majority of tretinoin products, the concentration of that active ingredient is typically 0.025 to 0.1 percent.) That’s why over-the-counter products contain higher concentrations of retinol, says Farris. “We have to ‘flood’ the skin” with the product, she explains, because only a fraction of retinol is enzymatically converted.
Once it’s applied, retinoic acid gets to work on the signs of aging skin. As people grow older, sun exposure and pollutants, combined with lifestyle factors such as stress and lack of sleep, lead to the production of free radicals, says Farris. Free radicals are highly reactive molecules that can damage skin cells. Skin experiences oxidative stress when it cannot neutralize these free radicals with antioxidants. This stress increases the production of enzymes called matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which break down collagen and the other kinds of “cement” that hold skin cells together, says Zakia Rahman, a clinical professor of dermatology at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

How to Care For Your Skin
Skin is the largest organ of our bodies. Up until just a few years ago, I kind of destroyed mine. I regularly got sunburns, had a poor diet, and didn’t really do anything to nurture healthy skin. Now in my 40s, the damage is apparent.
When we started Blueprint, we had the goal to measure every organ of the body, including skin, and slow its speed of aging and reverse the aging damage. I had a lot of skin aging damage, and we’ve used various technologies to measure my skin age.
When I started Blueprint, my skin was in the 98th percentile for damage, with a skin age of 64. Now, my skin age has improved to between 37 and 42.
Skin care basics
This may seem like a long list but they’re really all habits that you’ll soon forget you’re doing.
-
Get sunlight early in the mornings and later in the afternoons
-
Avoid direct sun exposure when the UV index is high (10 am - 4 pm)
-
If in the sun during high UV times, use clothing, a UV umbrella or wear a hat and or mineral sunscreen
-
Prioritize your sleep
-
And eat a Blueprint-like healthy diet
-
Avoid junk/fried/highly processed foods
-
Consume 20-30 grams of collagen peptides daily. It’s good to pair Vitamin C with peptides, which the Blueprint stack has. Also, Blueprint collagen peptides are coming soon.
-
Supplements: Niacinamide (15 mg in Blueprint Essential Capsules) and hyaluronic acid (120 mg in Blueprint Longevity Mix)
My daily protocol
-
A body wash, face wash, moisturizer (Body, Face) + vitamin C and Retinol.
-
Sunscreen - (Link). Blueprint sunscreen coming Dec 2024.
-
Creams - a few worth considering: niacinamide, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and tretinoin (an Rx). There are seemingly endless skin cream options to choose from and my experience has been that they are only marginally helpful. If you find one that is meaningfully effective, please share!
Note: if you have your face wash or moisturizer that you like, great. The above are options.
Pro tips
-
Other UV Protection: UV-tinted windows (blocks 99% of UV) and a UV umbrella when outside.
-
Prescription: I microdose Accutane (40mg weekly) for blemish free skin and anti-aging benefits. Requires a doctor’s prescription. Alternatives include over-the-counter retinols. (Link)
-
Red Light Therapy: Three 12-minute full body sessions per week for collagen production, healing, and mitochondrial health. Note, if you don’t have easy access to red light therapy, don’t worry. The basics are a great place to start.
Measuring skin health
We measure my progress and tailor treatments with Multispectral Imaging. It provides detailed views of skin health, tracking UV damage, pore size, and spots. Reveals much more than the eyes can see. Some wellness clinics offer this service, you can search locally to find one.
